HISTORICAL ANALYSIS
In general, Unbroken, with the help of the novel it's inspired by, does a satisfactory job at keeping things historically accurate. There's only a few events I noticed were altered for simplicity's sake or to keep the story moving. There were many events and details I found in my research that weren't even mentioned in the movie, which could've potentially added a lot to it. Of course, it doesn't do a perfect job capturing Louis Zamperini's story. But, for a two hour movie, it does well in getting the message across and showing Zamperini as the stong-willed hero he is.
